Dross Eliminator For Leaded Pots
Make sure to use only Super Deox to reduce dross. Unlike Super Deox, other brands are generally composed of mineral oils and fatty acid compounds that break down and may deposit on the PC board assemblies. Super Deox will not break down and has been specifically formulated to convert the oxides of solder (known as dross) into good solder. Super Deox #1 is a stable, low fuming, high melting compound with no flash or fire points. Use of Super Deox can reclaim over 80% of dross into usable solder. This can substantially reduce solder cost. Also available for Lead Free pots as Super Deox #1H.

Water Soluble Wave Oil #2020
2020 Water Soluble Wave Oil is a highly refined synthetic oil to which an effective dross inhibiting agent has been added to reduce the excessive build-up of dross in the solder pot. It provides longer life and less smoke than most solvent soluble
tinning oil. It is compatible with rosin-based flux and all types of organic acid fluxes.
